Priv.-Doz. Dr. Med. Leif-Christopher Engel

Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Leif-Christopher Engel is a seasoned cardiology professional with extensive experience in both clinical practice and research. Currently serving as a Cardiology Fellow at Deutsches Herzzentrum München des Freistaates Bayern - Klinik an der Technischen Universität München since December 2018, Engel also owns a private practice, Praxis PD Dr. med. Engel, which provides general internal medicine and cardiology services. Previous positions include work as a physician at Charité and Universitätsspital Zürich, as well as a postdoctoral researcher at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Engel holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Ulm University and is recognized as a Facharzt and Habilitant at the Technical University of Munich.
