Philipp T. Tempel

Philipp T. Tempel is a seasoned professional in the fields of mechatronics, robotics, and automation engineering with a comprehensive academic and research background. Currently serving as a Patent Examiner at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA) since April 2024, Philipp has previously held postdoctoral research associate roles at Laboratoire des Sciences du Numérique de Nantes (LS2N) and Ecole Centrale de Nantes from November 2020 to March 2024. Prior experience includes a research associate position at Technische Universiteit Delft, focusing on Mechatronic System Design, as well as a research assistant role at the University of Stuttgart, where work centered on the dynamics of flexible cables for cable-driven parallel robots.
