Silvia S. has a diverse work experience in various organizations. From 2013 to present, they have been working at the German Red Cross, initially as the Institutional Donors Advisor and later as the Head of Unit for Accountability & Institutional Partnerships. Their responsibilities included communication and coordination with donors and partners, organizing trainings, and ensuring compliance with donor rules and regulations. Prior to that, in 2012, they served as the EU Advisor International Development and Representative of the German Red Cross at the Red Cross/EU Office in Brussels. In 2010, they worked as the Desk Officer/Head of Operations for Haiti at the German Red Cross, where they were responsible for relations with donors and coordination of the organization's operations. Silvia also held positions at Rambøll Management, the Spanish Red Cross, the Institute for Popular Democracy, the Institute of Politics and Governance, and the European Commission's Joint Research Centre.

Silvia S. completed their education at three different institutions. From 1994 to 1999, they attended Universidad Complutense de Madrid and obtained a Diplom Soziologin (Licenciatura) degree. In 2001-2002, they studied at the University of Sussex and earned a Master of Arts in Governance and Development. Later, in 2009-2010, Silvia completed the AGEG & CEVAL Fortbildungsprogramm Evaluation in der EZ program, earning a certificate. The specific field of study for each degree is not provided.
