Alex Nam Kim has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. In 2013, they were a Global Marketing Intern at CJ CheilJedang, where they conducted extensive research of major global markets of food ingredients and commodities, analyzed and organized raw numerical and tabular data, and completed accounting work related to financial statement analysis. In 2015, they were a Localization Associate at Netmarble Games, where they conducted localization and quality assurance for top mobile games for global consumers in the iOS and Google Store. Alex Nam also gained a deep understanding of profitability of video game producers & tech industry, trends for variety of markets, and analyzed what consumers seek in each market. That same year, they were a Freelance Translator at Riot Games, where they conducted frame-by-frame translations from Korean-to-English for feature documentary ‘Legends Rising’. Alex Nam also worked directly with producer and editor, learning professional production and editing procedures from the media giant, and helped create and refine translation and subtitle-editing software. In 2016, they were a Full Stack Developer at UCLA Extension, where they deployed multiple full-stack web apps under modern guidelines, MVC frameworks, secure and authenticated systems, and worked on various team projects to garner the experience of a corporate development team. In 2018, they were a Front-End Developer at Xen Media, Inc., where they built from scratch and deployed multiple websites and web apps for large clients including Ajinomoto Foods and Kia. Alex Nam also developed and hard-coded software solutions for the in-house development team, and built and optimized MySQL databases, as well as coded the admin sites for managing DB for non-devs. Finally, they are currently a Full Stack Developer at Dev.XYZ since 2019.

Alex Nam Kim obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Financial Actuarial Mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles between 2011 and 2015.
