Hartwig Steckel

Hartwig Steckel has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia, serving as Scientific Coordinator and Director of R&D and International Regulatory Affairs at DEVA Holding A.Ş. from October 2014 to May 2024. Prior to this role, Hartwig was a Professor and Director at Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel from October 2007 to September 2014 and led pharmaceutical development at Intendis from April 2006 to September 2007. Additional academic contributions were made at Kiel University (CAU) as a representative of the C4 chair and as a research assistant from January 2000 to January 2006. Hartwig began their career at AstraZeneca, where Hartwig held the position of Laborleiter from January 1997 to January 2000. Hartwig Steckel earned a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology from CAU Kiel between January 1995 and January 1997, following a Staatsexamen in Pharmacy with subsequent promotion and habilitation in Pharmaceutical Technology from 1989 to 1993.
