Mel van Londen

Mel van Londen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They are currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Develop Health, a role they took on in June 2022. Prior to this, Mel served as the VP of Product at Canvas Medical from November 2017 to June 2022, where they oversaw the development of an EHR system and managed various teams. They also worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Shyp from May 2016 to November 2017, leading a crucial development project. Mel worked at IDEO as a Designer and Developer from June 2014 to May 2016 and contributed to cross-functional teams in various industries. They worked as a Software Engineer at ActiveViam in 2014, where they implemented and supported enterprise-level software. Mel also gained experience as a Technical Assistant at Dr. Christopher Unger's Family Practice from May 2012 to June 2013. They held the position of Captain at Annapolis Sailing School from May 2008 to June 2013 and Watermark from June 2012 to October 2012. Additionally, they served as a Football Team Tutor at the University of Maryland from February 2012 to May 2012, and as an Emergency Department Throughput Analyst at Howard County General Hospital from May 2011 to August 2011.

Mel van Londen attended the University of Maryland from 2009 to 2013, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology and Physiology. In 2009, they also obtained a Captain's License from the U.S. Coast Guard.
