Arun Gupta is a seasoned professional in developer relations and open source technology, currently serving on the Steering Committee of the Developer Relations Foundation and as Vice President of Developer Experience at JetBrains. Since September 2025, Arun has also been the organizer for the CNCF AI Technical Community Group and involved with the United Nations Tech Over Hackathon, focusing on advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals through technology. Previous experiences include a significant role at Intel Corporation as Vice President of Developer Marketing, where strategic partnerships and developer engagement initiatives were successfully executed. Arun holds leadership positions with the OpenSSF Governing Board and the Linux Foundation, and has been Chairperson of the CNCF Governing Board since 2021, overseeing substantial growth in membership. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computers from Delhi University and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from Hans Raj College.
