Shabnam Durani has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. shabnam started their career in 2012 as a Business Development Executive at Milestone. In 2013, they worked as an Assistant Researcher, Assistant to the CEO, and handled PR & Fundraising at ADAPT (SPASTIC SOCIETY OF INDIA). During the same year, they also co-founded Tent - fashion accessories, where they conducted workshops and training for women from disadvantaged backgrounds, organized exhibitions, managed brand promotion, and executed crowdfunding campaigns.

In 2014, Shabnam joined Chintan (Environmental Research and Action Group) as an Assistant Manager. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Program Officer - Communications at Asha Community Health and Development Society.

shabnam then moved on to Score Foundation, India in 2019, where they initially served as a Communications Officer and later became the Manager of Communications & Programmes until 2023.

Shabnam's most recent experience is with Development Alternatives, where they work as an Asst. Program Director-Inclusive Entrepreneurship, specializing in knowledge, learning, and communications.

From 2009 to 2011, Shabnam Durani attended the University of Mumbai, where they obtained a Masters in Sociology (Honours).
