Alexandra Shimunova

Alexandra Shimunova is an experienced ESG specialist currently working at the Development Bank of Kazakhstan since August 2023. Prior to this role, Alexandra served as a consultant at KPMG Caucasus and Central Asia from December 2022 to August 2023. Alexandra's expertise also includes a position as leading expert at the National Spatial Information Center from September 2021 to September 2022, where responsibilities involved compiling maps and preparing reports. Previously, as the manager of the Cartography and GIS Department at the Republican Center of Geological Information “Qazgeoaqparat” from September 2020 to September 2021, Alexandra focused on updating digital databases. Alexandra began a career in data analysis as a trainee analyst at DataHuntersResearch in mid-2019. Educationally, Alexandra holds a Bachelor's degree in Ecology and Environmental Management from Moscow State University, completed in June 2020.
