Martie Janse van Rensburg

Martie Janse van Rensburg is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance and management consulting, currently serving as Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee and Compensation Committee, as well as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Ivanhoe Mines since August 2020. Martie also holds similar positions at Etion Limited, Sephaku Holdings Ltd, and the Development Bank of Southern Africa, reflecting a strong focus on audit, risk, and governance. As the owner of M J Janse van Rensburg from February 2008 to April 2022, Martie specialized in policy, strategy, utility management, funding, and tariff determination, alongside overseeing large infrastructure projects. Previously, Martie was the CEO of TCTA from 1994 to 2008.
