John Babalola

John Babalola has a diverse range of work experience in corporate finance and banking. John started their career as a Management Trainee at Union Bank of Nigeria in February 2018 and worked there until October 2021, during which they held the role of Relationship Officer in the Corporate Banking Group. Prior to that, they worked as a Finance Manager at Deyone Ltd. from November 2016 to November 2017. Following their time at Union Bank, they joined GS Verde Corporate Finance as a Corporate Finance Executive in May 2022 and worked there until April 2023. Currently, they are employed as an Assistant Investment Executive at Development Bank of Wales starting from April 2023.

John Babalola obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Ekiti State University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. John then pursued further education and received the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA) certification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 2021. Following this, John pursued a Master's Degree in Finance and Big Data Analytics at Swansea University, which they completed in 2022.
