Nanjira Sambuli

Nanjira Sambuli is a prominent professional in research, policy, and advocacy, currently serving as a Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace since July 2021. Nanjira is also engaged in multiple significant roles, including Ford Global Fellow at the Ford Foundation, Board Member at the Digital Impact Alliance and Development Gateway, and former Co-Chair of Transform Health. Nanjira's expertise extends to governance and digital health through contributions as a Commissioner for the Lancet & Financial Times Commission on digital health and as a Senior Policy Manager at the World Wide Web Foundation, where advocacy for digital equality was a primary focus. Nanjira holds a Master’s degree in Contemporary Diplomacy from the University of Malta and a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi.
