Babacar Ka

Babacar Ka is an experienced finance and investment professional currently serving as a Trustee for the Royal African Society since January 2022, contributing to the Society's mission of enhancing understanding of Africa in the UK. Babacar has been a Partner at Development Partners International since January 2011 and previously held positions as a Summer Associate at Standard Bank Group in 2010 and as an Investment Analyst and Portfolio Analyst/Equity Research at the International Finance Corporation from 2005 to 2009. Babacar holds an MBA in Finance & Strategy from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford (2009-2010) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the University of California, Riverside (1999-2003).
