Fernando Cabello-Astolfi has a diverse work experience starting in 2004 when they worked as a Senior Project Manager at Monitor Group. In 2009, they became the Managing Director of BLUESOC, where they led a talented team and positioned the company as a leading provider of real-time security solutions. In 2011, Fernando co-founded and became the co-CEO of Ibercheck, a role they held until 2019. During this time, they also served as a mentor at Startupbootcamp. In 2014, Fernando founded and became the CEO of Aplazame, a point of sale financing platform that was later sold to Wizink bank in 2018. From 2019 onwards, Fernando took on various roles as a seed investor and board member/advisor at companies such as Devengo, Postpay, Reveni, and Atrato. Most recently, in 2022, they joined INESPAY - Transferencia Bancaria PSD2 as a seed investor and board member.
Fernando Cabello-Astolfi obtained their Licenciatura en Administración y Dirección de Empresas degree in Econometría y economía cuantitativa from Universidad CEU San Pablo, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Fernando then pursued an MSc Global Market Economics degree at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1999 to 2001.
