Iván Guardado Castro

Iván Guardado Castro has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Iván started their career in 2007 as a Junior Programmer at Dms Consulting, where they were responsible for designing and implementing web applications in C# and PHP. In 2008, they co-founded Erasmusu, the largest Erasmus student community in Europe, where they served as Co-founder and Lead Programmer. At Erasmusu, Iván developed and managed all the server-side and client-side code. Iván continued working as Co-founder and Lead Programmer at Cokidoo Studios, a technology consulting company, until 2012.

In 2012, Iván joined Audiense as a Tech Lead, where they managed the engineering team and ensured timely delivery of high-quality work. Iván also played a key role in implementing eXtreme Programming techniques and building high-availability backend services in Node.

In 2018, Iván moved to Inditex, where they served as the Zara Tech Lead. Iván worked in this role until 2019, when they joined Devengo as the Lead Software Developer.

Iván Guardado Castro began their education at IES San Clemente from 2005 to 2007, where they studied Desarrollo de Aplicaciones Informáticas. Iván also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. In 2019, they completed the Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure course offered by Coursera. In 2013, Iván obtained two certifications: Principles of Reactive Programming and Functional Programming Principles in Scala, both from Coursera. Additionally, in 2012, they obtained a certification in MongoDB for Developers (Python) from 10gen.
