Joanna Keenan is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the agriculture and food sectors. Since June 2019, Joanna has served as a Lecturer at the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE), while also working as a Research Officer at Devenish since June 2015. Previously, Joanna was a PhD Researcher at the Institute for Global Food Security, Queen's University Belfast, from October 2011 to March 2015, focusing on metabolomic approaches to assessing pre-slaughter stress in relation to beef quality. Joanna's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Food Quality, Safety and Nutrition from Queen's University Belfast and a National Diploma in Food, Nutrition and Health from the College of Agriculture Food and Rural Enterprise, Loughry Campus.
