Alice Defriend

Alice Defriend is a barrister at Devereux Chambers since October 2022, having previously served as a pupil barrister. Alice gained judicial experience as a Judicial Assistant in the High Court of England and Wales from April 2022 to July 2022 and in the Court of Appeal from September 2020 to July 2021, specifically assisting Simler LJ. Alice holds a Bar Vocational Course (BVC) from The Inns of Court College of Advocacy (2021-2022), a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Cambridge (2019-2020), and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Durham University (2016-2019).
