Colleen Delaney

Founder and Chief Scientific Officer, EVP of Research and Development at Deverra Therapeutics

Colleen Delaney has worked in the medical field since 1999, when they became an Affiliate Investigator and Full Member of the Clinical Research Division at Fred Hutch. In 2015, they founded and became the Chief Scientific Officer and EVP of Research and Development at Nohla Therapeutics, a cellular therapy company. In 2020, they founded and became the Chief Scientific Officer and EVP of Research and Development at Deverra Therapeutics. At Nohla Therapeutics, they also served as the Chief Medical Officer, responsible for developing a unique umbilical cord blood expansion platform.

Colleen Delaney received their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Harvard Medical School in 1996. Prior to this, they obtained an MSc in Social Research and Social Policy from the University of Oxford in 1991. Colleen began their educational journey in 1985, graduating with a BA in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Wesleyan University in 1989.
