Kimiya Shams

Kimiya Shams is a legal professional with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as Deputy General Counsel at Devialet since December 2016, having previously held positions such as Legal & Business Affairs Manager and Legal Counsel within the same organization. In addition to industry work, Kimiya engages in academia as a Guest Lecturer at multiple esteemed institutions, including Columbia Law School, EDHEC Business School, HEC Paris, and ESCP Business School. Kimiya's prior experience includes Legal Counsel roles at J.M. Huber Corporation / CP Kelco and Oriflame Cosmetics, a Trainee Attorney role at August Debouzy, and an Associate role at Gärde Wesslau Advokatbyrå. Kimiya holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Stanford Law School, a degree in Economics from the University of Oxford, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property & Corporate law from Stockholm University, where Magna Cum Laude honors were achieved.
