Francis Alcantara's work experience began in 2006 as a Physical Education Instructor at Lawrence Family Development Charter School. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as an IT Specialist at Lawrence Training School, where they deployed computer systems, troubleshooted network issues, and configured routers and firewalls. From 2011 to 2016, Francis served as a Network Engineer and Field Technician at TeamLogicIT, configuring routers and switches, resolving network device issues, and collaborating with system administrators.

In 2016, Francis joined Winslow Technology Group as a Professional Services Engineer, where they deployed solutions, provided customer training, and offered support during implementations. Francis later assumed the role of Solutions Architect, presenting technology infrastructure and guiding customers on upgrades and enhancements until 2020.

Currently, Francis works at Device42 as a Solutions Architect, where they play a key role in developing integrated solutions and delivering architectural dialogues to customers.

Francis Alcantara's education history begins in 1999 when they attended Plymouth State University. During this time, they pursued studies in Computer Science, although no degree information is provided. After a gap of several years, from 2009 to 2011, Francis attended ITT Technical Institute and obtained an Associate degree in Applied Science with a focus on Computer Network Systems.

In addition to their formal education, Francis has obtained several certifications. In June 2021, they achieved the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification, followed by the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification in the same month. Francis also earned the Nutanix Certified Systems Engineer (NCSE), Level 1 certification from Nutanix in December 2019.

Furthermore, Francis gained certifications in various technical fields. Francis obtained the Veeam Technical Sales Professional certification from Veeam Software in July 2019. In May 2019, Francis acquired the Specialist – Implementation Engineer, VxRail Appliance Version 1.0 certification from Dell Technologies, as well as the VMware Technical Sales Professional - HCI Hyper-Converged Infrastructure certification from VMware. Additionally, in March 2019, they earned the Associate - Converged Systems and Hybrid Cloud Version 1.0 certification and in January 2019, they obtained the Associate - Information Storage and Management certification, both from Dell Technologies.

Prior to these certifications, Francis obtained several credentials from Dell Technologies, including SE: Data Center Networking Credentials in December 2018 and SE: MidRange Storage Credentials in October 2018. Francis also achieved the Nutanix Platform Professional (NPP5) certification and Nutanix Systems Engineering Novice (NSEN) certification in September and August 2017, respectively. Furthermore, they earned SE: IT Transformation Credentials from Dell Technologies in August 2017, SE: Converged Infrastructure Credentials from Dell EMC in July 2017, and SE: Rack and Tower Server Credential from Dell EMC in July 2017. Additionally, in May 2017, they obtained the Nutanix Core Competency: Install & Configure certification from Nutanix and the VCE Certified Converged Infrastructure Associate (VCE-CIA) certification from VCE in February 2017.

Lastly, Francis has acquired certifications in network security. In January 2020, they obtained the NSE 2 Network Security Associate certification from Fortinet, and in December 2019, they earned the NSE 1 Network Security Associate certification, also from Fortinet.
