Matthias Scharlau has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Matthias began their career in 1994 as a Team Leader Procurement at BOG IT & Services GmbH. Matthias then transitioned to ELSA AG in 2000, where they served as the Director of Procurement until 2002. From 2002 until 2014, Matthias worked at devolo AG, starting as the Vice President of Procurement & Logistics before assuming the role of Vice President of Operations in 2015. In 2013, they took on an additional role as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Kolping Jugendwohnen, which they held until 2020.
Matthias Scharlau has a solid education history. Matthias obtained a Tradesman Purchasing & Logistics degree from the Chamber of Commerce Münster, specializing in SCM, Procurement, and Logistics. Prior to that, they completed their high school diploma at the School of Business Administration in Ahaus. Earlier in their education, Matthias also acquired a degree in Industrial Business Management Assistance from Thies GmbH & Co. KG in Coesfeld.
