David Hynd is currently the Programme and Partnership Manager for the Heart of the South West Growth Hub at Devon County Council, where they lead contract management, delivery, and stakeholder engagement. Previously, they served as Programme and Partnership Manager with Serco and as Head of Rural at Peninsula Enterprise, where they managed rural-related contracts. David's career began as a Rural Adviser at Defra, and they have held various project management roles since, including a position as Regional Project Manager during a secondment to Business Link Devon & Cornwall Ltd. They hold a BSc (Hons) in Rural Resources from The Scottish Agricultural College, along with a Diploma in Surveying and a Certificate in Management.
