Matthew Thorpe

Matthew Thorpe is the Deputy Director of Finance at Devon County Council since January 2018. Prior to that, he held positions at NHS England as the Head of Finance Direct Commissioning and Assistant Head of Finance. From June 2008 to May 2013, he worked as a Group Accountant at Southend on Sea Borough Council. He also has experience as a Business Analyst at e2v and as a Finance Manager Acute Commissioning at South East Essex Primary Care Trust. Matthew is a full member of CIMA and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Economic History from the University of Leicester.
