Benjamin Hardy

Benjamin Hardy is a Senior Geoscientist with over 19 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, specializing in quantitative interpretation (QI). Previously, Benjamin worked for Ikon Science for 15 years and has handled datasets from every continent except Antarctica, with a recent focus on onshore US plays. Currently, Benjamin holds the position of Senior QI Geophysicist at Shell and has also begun working at Devon Energy. Benjamin completed a Bachelor of Science in Exploration Geophysics at Curtin University and recently graduated at the top of their cohort from a Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at The University of Texas at Austin. Passionate about integrating data science techniques into the energy sector, Benjamin is excited about future developments in sustainability and the energy transition.
