Derrick Karake

Derrick Karake is a skilled data scientist currently employed at Devon Energy since January 2023. Prior to this role, Derrick worked at Revenue Management Solutions, LLC, from May 2022 to December 2022, where collaboration with a team led to the fine-tuning, training, and deployment of a BERT question-and-answer algorithm for processing over 5,000 TIFF images daily. Derrick also served as a Data Science Graduate Assistant at Oklahoma Christian University from January 2019 to April 2022, where responsibilities included converting phone and ticketing data into actionable insights and implementing performance assessments using K-Means and Decision Tree algorithms. Earlier experience includes the role of PowerShell Developer, creating .NET applications for campus printing services.
