Joe Comisky is a seasoned Principal Petrophysicist at Devon Energy since March 2018, bringing extensive expertise accumulated over two decades in the oil and gas industry. Previously, Joe served as a Senior Staff Petrophysicist at Apache Corporation, where advisory roles were undertaken on various global projects, focusing predominantly on regions such as the Gulf Coast, Permian Basin, and several international basins. Joe's career also includes positions as a Petrophysicist at ConocoPhillips and Anadarko Petroleum, emphasizing seismic and pore pressure analysis, as well as hands-on training in full-cycle petrophysics. Early in Joe's career, valuable experiences were gained as a Formation Evaluation Intern at Chevron and a Geophysics Intern at Schlumberger. Joe holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Geosciences from Penn State University.
