Joe Wempe

Joe Wempe is an experienced technology manager with a career spanning over two decades in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Manager of Technology for Drilling, Completions, Facilities, and EHS at Devon Energy since August 2014, Joe has previously held various IT management roles both at Devon Energy and Phillips 66. Notably, Joe has expertise as an IT Business Partner at ConocoPhillips, where responsibilities included liaising between IT and departments such as Technology Finance and Research and Development. Joe's technical background includes leading functional teams in significant projects and developing critical systems for operational efficiency. Joe earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin in 2003.
