Mike Cook

Mike Cook is an experienced environmental and regulatory professional with a robust background in the energy sector. Currently serving as an Environmental Supervisor and Regulatory Manager at Devon Energy since January 2021, Mike has previously held various regulatory roles at WPX Energy, including Regulatory Manager, Regulatory Team Lead, and Senior Regulatory Specialist. Mike's career began at SWCA Environmental Consultants as a Natural Resources Team Lead/Ecologist and Ecologist/Environmental Specialist. Earlier experience includes working as an Ecological Researcher at Stephen F. Austin State University, where involvement in malacological studies took place. Mike holds a Master of Jurisprudence in Energy Law from The University of Tulsa College of Law, as well as a Master of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Stephen F. Austin State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Dickinson State University.
