Helen Beal 🐝

Chief Ambassador at DevOps Institute

Helen Beal has been involved in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2017. Helen began as the DevOps Editor for InfoQ, then moved on to become the Chief Ambassador for DevOps Institute in 2018. In 2020, they were a Strategic Advisor for both Moogsoft and Plutora, as well as the Host of Day-to-Day DevOps for BrightTALK and an Ambassador for Continuous Delivery Foundation. In 2021, they became the Chair for Value Stream Management Consortium and an Advisory Board member for DevNetwork. Finally, in 2022, they were appointed Co-Chair of the Value Stream Management Interoperability Technical Committee for OASIS and a Strategic Advisor for Atlassian.

Helen Beal has a long and varied educational history. Helen attended Holy Trinity, Crawley, West Sussex from 1985 to 1990. Helen then went on to Millfield School, where they obtained their A'Levels in Chemistry, French and English from 1990 to 1992. Helen then attended Royal Holloway, University of London, where they obtained their BA Hons in English Literature and Language from 1992 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, Helen has obtained a number of certifications from institutions such as edX, Value Stream Management Consortium, TKMG Academy, Inc., Scrum.org, DevOps Institute and Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.
