Leslie Sage

Director of Data Science at DevResults

Leslie Sage has a long history of work experience, beginning in 2000 as a Research Intern for the University of Texas Southwestern. Leslie then moved to the University of Bristol in 2004, where they held the roles of Research Assistant and Laboratory Manager & Research Technician. In 2009, they became a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Oxford. In 2012, they worked for Obama for America as the Deputy Director of Data and for the Presidential Inaugural Committee as the Data Coordinator, where they engineered systems for monitoring engagement with nation-wide volunteer service outreach programs and developed a concept for an algorithm that matched thousands of volunteers to preferred service roles throughout Washington, D. C. for the 2012 presidential inauguration. Since 2013, they have been the Director of Data Science for DevResults.

Leslie Sage obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science from Rice University in 2004. Leslie then completed a PhD in Physiology & Pharmacology from the University of Bristol in 2012. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Udemy ("Python A-Z: Python for Data Science") in January 2019, Coursera ("R Programming") in November 2017, and Freshworks ("Freshdesk product expert certification") in March 2019.
