The Google Developer Groups on Campus VIT Chennai (GDG VITC) is a collegiate community fostering technological innovation. At GDG, students are encouraged to collaborate with their peers to create innovative solutions for their community.

DevsHouse '25 is a national-level hackathon where students from colleges across the country will have 36 hours to develop real-world solutions using a range of cutting-edge tech stacks. The event emphasises teamwork, creativity, and collaboration while being beginner-friendly. Special recognition will be given to teams composed entirely of members from underrepresented social groups, promoting diversity in the software industry. Tracks include Blockchain, FinTech, Environmental Sustainability, AR/VR, IoT, and Open Innovation. With a prize pool exceeding INR 60,000, the hackathon aims to inspire participation and innovation.
