Torbjörn Andersson has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles in the sales and business development field. Torbjörn began their career at Millipore Corporation as a Sales Manager from 1990 to 1993. Torbjörn then joined Waters Corporation as a Managing Director from 1994 to 2006. Following that, they worked at REMP AG as the Global Head of Sales from 2007 to 2010. Torbjörn then served as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Nexus Biosystems from 2010 to 2011, and later as the Head of Global Sales and Marketing at Brooks Life Science Systems from 2011 to 2013. Torbjörn then held the position of CEO at Calmark Sweden AB from 2014 to 2015 before becoming the Member of the Board at Medical Vision from 2014 to 2018. Torbjörn was then the Venture Partner at Phenix Business Partner from 2013 to 2015. Most recently, Torbjörn Andersson has been serving as the Head of Commercial Operations EMEA at Biotage AB, Sweden from 2015 to 2020. Torbjörn is currently the Vice President of Sales at Devyser since April 2020.
Torbjörn Andersson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at Linköping University from 1983-1987. Torbjörn also obtained an MBA from IMD in 2003-2004.
