Tom Christensen

Tom Christensen is an experienced Project Manager with a robust background in managing Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects for government facilities. Since August 2007, Tom has worked at Dewberry, overseeing the preparation of RFPs for mega projects and renovation efforts while ensuring the maintenance of critical operations. Previously, from 2001 to 2007, Tom served as a Project Manager at KBR, Inc., where responsibilities included serving as Design Manager for the US Embassy Complex in Kabul, Afghanistan. Tom's early career included a role as a Civil Engineer Corps Officer in the Navy Civil Engineer Corps from 1980 to 1997, where leadership was provided to facility and utility operations. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Acquisition & Logistics from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, an MBA from California Lutheran University, a Master's degree in Ocean Engineering & Material Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
