Salman received his BS in Chemical Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and his MD and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He became interested in condensate biology during his Ph.D. training, where he worked in the lab of Michael Rosen. He then went on to complete his medical training. He is currently a resident in Clinical Pathology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and is working in the lab of Richard Young, studying how human disease genetics can inform condensate biology.
