Carl Pettersen

Carl Pettersen is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and product development. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer at Dexcom and a Principal Product Development Engineer at Symbient PD, Carl has a strong background in creating and releasing designs to production, particularly in the nuclear sector. Previously, Carl held key roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Lamkin Corporation, where leadership included managing international engineering teams and overseeing continuous improvement initiatives. Carl co-founded H2O Audio and has also worked as a Product Manager at Zimmer Dental and a Manufacturing Engineer at Alpha Thermistor and Assembly. Carl holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, both from San Diego State University.
