Jeffrey Dunifon

Jeffrey Dunifon serves as the Sr. Director, Privacy & Data Security Counsel and Data Privacy Officer at Dexcom since October 2021, previously holding the position of Director, Privacy & Data Security Counsel at the same company. Prior to Dexcom, Jeffrey was the Global Privacy Officer at Zimmer Biomet, where responsibilities included leading the global privacy program and addressing international privacy requirements. Jeffrey has extensive experience in privacy law from roles at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP as a Privacy Associate and at Goldman Sachs as a Secondee. Additional experience includes serving as an Investigator at the US Department of Health and Human Services, managing HIPAA-related investigations, and advising on data protection issues as an Associate Attorney at Baker & McKenzie. Jeffrey holds a Doctor of Law from the University of Chicago Law School, a Certificate in Privacy Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Russian and International Studies from The Ohio State University.
