Matthew Gerber

Matthew Gerber is a Principal Algorithm Engineer at Dexcom, where Matthew has been employed since May 2019, previously serving as a Sr Staff Algorithm Engineer. Prior to joining Dexcom, Matthew Gerber was an Assistant Professor of Systems and Information Engineering and a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia from August 2011 to May 2019. Matthew Gerber also completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Michigan State University, where research focused on automatic semantic analysis of noun-based events in unstructured English text, culminating in a candidacy from May 2008 to May 2011.
