Phaniendra Somraj

Phaniendra Somraj is a seasoned professional in process improvements and Lean Six Sigma methodologies, currently serving as a Senior Manager at Dexcom since December 2022, leading Lean Six Sigma programs and strategy deployments while coaching cross-functional projects. In addition, Phaniendra serves as a Lean Six Sigma instructor at UC San Diego Extended Studies. Previous experience includes roles in product strategy consulting at smartQED, process optimization at Fifth Third Bank, and various consulting positions at Philips and Teradata, among others. Phaniendra holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, a Master of Engineering in Advanced Manufacturing Technology and Management from the University of South Australia, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
