Zack Wood

Zack Wood is a highly experienced engineer with a focus on medical device innovation, currently serving as Staff Innovation Lead and Staff Medical Device Engineer at Dexcom since August 2022. Previously, Zack worked at Ra Medical Systems for six years, where contributions included leading a team in developing laser-driven shockwave therapy catheters and managing the research and design processes for new product development. Additional roles at Ra Medical Systems involved executing experiments to improve device shelf life and collaborating with regulatory affairs on 510(k) submissions. Zack's prior experience includes positions at Johnson & Johnson as a Process Engineer and as an Engineering Intern at both Abbott and Ra Medical Systems. Zack holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California, earned between 2012 and 2016.
