John Ellis

John Ellis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic planning, performance management, and economic growth initiatives. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor for Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning at Dexis Consulting Group since February 2015, John works with USAID and other development partners to enhance their operational capacities through improved evaluation and resource allocation. Prior to this, John held various roles at USAID/Monrovia from 2001 to 2014, including Supervisory Program Officer and Senior Coordinator for Economic Growth, where responsibilities included budget planning and the integration of political economy analysis into development projects. Earlier in his career, John served in leadership positions at the U.S. Trade Representative and the U.S. Department of State, focusing on trade negotiations and economic diplomacy in multiple international contexts. John holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Carleton College.
