Glenn Schomburg has a diverse work experience that spans over three decades. Glenn began their career at Klein Tools in 1986 as an Assistant Foreman in the Tool Room. Glenn then joined Anderson Shumaker Inc in 1993 as a Plant Supervisor, where they managed various aspects of the open die forging plant. In 2001, Glenn joined Harger Lightning & Grounding as an Assistant Manufacturing Manager and later became a Manufacturing Manager in 2005. During their time at Harger, they oversaw manufacturing operations, including CNC machining and production scheduling. In 2007, they joined Wm. W. Meyer & Sons, Inc. as an Assistant Plant Manager, and later became a Manufacturing Process Manager. At Wm. W. Meyer & Sons, Glenn was involved in CNC machining, fabricating, assembly, and coating operations. Since 2013, they have been working at DeZURIK, Inc. as an Operations Manager, responsible for leading and directing all manufacturing operations in a union environment. Glenn has experience in various industries, including valves manufacturing for water treatment, sewage treatment, pulp and paper, chemical and petrochemical, mining, power, and hydropower dams. Glenn has also been involved in capitol justification and purchase, as well as implementation of the capitol equipment.
Glenn Schomburg has a diverse education history. From 1990 to 1993, they attended Oakton College, where they pursued a Tooling and Manufacturing Association, Tool and Die apprenticeship. During this time, their field of study was Manufacturing Technology/Tool and Die.
In 2003, they participated in a certificate program at Dale Carnegie Leadership Development, focusing on Leadership Development. This program lasted for eight weeks.
In 2004, they obtained a Human Resources and Labor Law Certificate from Klein Dub and Holub. Glenn'sfield of study was Human Resources and Labor Law.
In 2016, they received a Personal Leadership Development certificate from Wiley Everything Disc Workplace-Hire and Inspire LLC. Through this program, they learned about learning Disc profile of himself and others in a team, as well as how they interact.
Lastly, in 2017, they completed the Leadership and Management Development Certificate from Franklin Covey. This program specifically focused on Leadership and Management Development with a 360-degree assessment.
