Steve Clauson

Steve Clauson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Steve started their career at DeZURIK in 1992, working as an Application Engineer, Senior Application Engineer, and eventually becoming an Application Engineering Manager. Steve then transitioned to the role of Process Sales Manager and later served as the Director of Sales Support at DeZURIK.

In 2003, Steve joined Northern Wire Products as an OEM Sales Manager and eventually became a Sales Manager, overseeing sales activity for the OEM and Display/Fixture business segments. Steve achieved sales targets, managed budgets, and increased margins during their time there.

In 2004, Steve joined WEY Valve as the Vice President of Sales, where they worked until 2009.

Following that, they joined Pentair Valves & Controls in 2009 and held various roles including Business Development Manager for Mining and Regional Account Manager for the Oil Sands. In these positions, they developed strong relationships with global key accounts, negotiated agreements, and anticipated customer needs.

Currently, Steve holds the position of Director of International Sales & Global Mining at DeZURIK since November 2020. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Global Mining and the Canadian Industrial Sales Manager at DeZURIK. As the Canadian Industrial Sales Manager, they managed the Oil Sands Business and Industrial Sales Business for Canada, developed strategic plans, and managed sales personnel and supplier agreements.

Overall, Steve Clauson has extensive experience in sales, account management, business development, and leadership roles within the valve and controls industry.

From 1986 to 1989, Steve Clauson attended St. Cloud State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology.
