John Forde currently serves as the Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Ireland in the UAE since September 2020, following a role as Deputy Director of Disarmament at the United Nations from November 2017 to November 2019. Prior to this, John held positions in the Irish Defence Forces from June 2014 to November 2017, where responsibilities included serving as Press Officer and Spokesperson, and Training Officer.
