Chef De Mission Adjoint, Ambassade D'irlande En France at Irish Foreign Ministry

Owen Feeney is a seasoned diplomat currently serving as Chef de Mission Adjoint at the Embassy of Ireland in Paris since August 2021. Prior to this role, Owen held the position of Consul General at the Consulate General of Ireland in Sydney, Australia from September 2018 to September 2021, where responsibilities included promoting Ireland's interests and engaging with the local Irish community. Owen's extensive experience in foreign affairs also encompasses roles such as First Secretary in both the International Section of the Department of the Taoiseach and at the Embassy of Ireland in Paris, as well as serving as Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Trade and Development. Earlier experiences include serving as Press Officer at the Department of Foreign Affairs and as Second Secretary at the Embassy of Ireland in Washington. Owen holds a BA Hons degree in Business and Politics from Trinity College Dublin, completed in 2000.
