Shazmin Marikar

Shazmin Marikar is an experienced professional with over a decade in data warehousing and business intelligence. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President at DFCC Bank PLC since July 2019, Shazmin has progressed through various roles, including Senior Manager and Manager in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence. Prior to this, Shazmin held positions at SYNAPSYS LTD, Studio 60 Group, Salmat, and Virtusa, focusing on data analysis, database engineering, and business intelligence. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Business Analytics from the University of Moratuwa and a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Staffordshire University APIIT Sri Lanka. Shazmin also holds a Higher National Diploma in Information Technology and a beginner's diploma in Computing, with an academic background in the bio-sciences.
