Abel Nuwahwera

Abel Nuwahwera is an experienced professional in operational and fraud risk management, currently serving as the Operational Risk Manager at dfcu Bank since June 2022. Prior to this role, Abel built a strong foundation at Stanbic Bank Uganda from April 2013 to June 2022, where multiple positions were held, including Fraud Prevention Manager, Operational Risk Officer, and various leadership roles focused on managing fraud risk and enhancing financial crime management capabilities. Through these roles, Abel demonstrated expertise in fraud prevention, detection, and response, consistently aiming to minimize financial crime losses within acceptable limits.
