Helena Mayanja

Helena Mayanja currently serves as the Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at dfcu Bank, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this role, Helena was the Associate Director of Communications at World Vision from January 2023 to January 2024. Helena's extensive experience in public relations includes serving as the Managing Director at Hill + Knowlton Strategies, Uganda from January 2016 to February 2022, and as a Senior Public Relations Specialist at Uganda Communications Commission from December 2013 to January 2016. Additionally, Helena has held the position of Deputy Public Relations Director at Fireworks Advertising and was the PR & Communications Manager at MultiChoice. Early in the career, Helena worked as a Marketing Executive at Orient Bank Uganda Limited. Helena holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Makerere University Kampala, with a focus on Public Relations, Public Speaking, Broadcast, Advertising, Political Science, Economics, and Media Law.
