Calligaro Alain

Calligaro Alain is an experienced HR professional with a robust background in maritime HR and crewing. Since September 2012, Calligaro has served as General Manager HR at DFDS, overseeing HR and crewing for five French flag vessels, handling social dialogue with unions and staff representatives, and providing HR support for business operations. Prior to this role, Calligaro worked at LOUIS DREYFUS ARMATEURS as HR & Crewing Manager, managing HR for passenger services and crewing for multiple vessels. Additionally, Calligaro held positions as Regional HR Director and HR Manager at P&O Ferries, addressing French HR issues and managing social plans, and began a career in HR and crewing at Stena Line. Calligaro holds a Master's degree in Negotiations and Social Relationships from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL.
