Catja Hjorth

Catja Hjorth is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in operations and management within the shipping and logistics industries. Currently serving as VP and COO of the Ferry Division at DFDS since August 2023, Catja oversees fleet management and sustainable projects. Prior to this role, Catja held key positions at APM Terminals, including Global Head of Future Deployment, where responsibilities included leading transformational programs, and Board Member at APM TERMINALS GOTHENBURG AB. With a solid foundation at A.P. Moller - Maersk from 2011 to 2021, Catja excelled in roles such as Global Head of Operations Excellence and Global Head of Flow Management, focusing on organizational optimization, process streamlining, and digital transformation. Educational credentials include a leadership program at IMD and business degrees from Copenhagen Business School and Roskilde Handelsskole.
