Kaspar Hageman

Kaspar Hageman is a proficient data scientist with extensive experience in statistical modeling and optimization within various sectors. Currently employed at DFDS since September 2025, Hageman previously held a similar role at Kantar, focusing on media analytics. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position at Aarhus University, engaging in optimization and machine learning for autonomous drone charging scheduling as part of an EU Horizon 2020 project, and a PhD at Aalborg University, where Hageman investigated network security threats using machine learning. Additional research contributions were made during a visiting researcher role at IMDEA Networks Institute, addressing authorship attribution in the Android ecosystem. Early career as a software engineer at Nedap involved backend development and continuous integration efforts. Hageman holds a PhD in network security from Aalborg University, as well as MSc and BSc degrees in telematics and computer science from the University of Twente.
